This painting is full of hidden layers. Before the addition of the large, white brushstrokes and the frantic gold spray paint lines, there were layers of control and maticulation. The linework was thought out nad intentional. On the surface there is spontaneity and energy. The linework contrasts with the lines underneath. There is a sense of secretivity in this painting. What is the picture underneath? Why is it covered up?
