Artist Residency... HERE I COME!

 I’ve been accepted into an artist residency in Herrnhut, Germany, this spring and have successfully raised enough money to attend, thanks to everyone who has contributed through buying my work, donating funds, and prayed for me. In just 20 days, God has provided the means to be able to go! What a good God we serve.

This residency is deeply meaningful to me because it allows me to fully embrace my calling as an artist. It provides the chance to connect with other Christian artists who share the same passion for creating for Christ. It is also an opportunity for me to grow in understanding what it means to be a Christian creator in a world that often lacks the hope of Christ. Ultimately, this residency will equip me to follow God’s calling on my life as both an artist and a believer, preparing me for the future ahead.

The residency I’m applying for is part of a program called ONE, which is affiliated with YWAM. Each year, this program offers residencies for Christian artists who are passionate about living out their calling in a primarily secular art world. The specific residency I’ll be attending will take place from May 24 to June 6, 2025, in Herrnhut, Germany.
